 The Book of The Revelation of Jesus Christ in Small Chunks 

This is different from most of my Biblical Research Projects. It really is part of a bigger research project that I am working on. I am going to compare end of the world passages in the Book of Revelation with Isaiah, Daniel, Ezekiel, etc. This is going to take me a while to accomplish this research and analysis.   

I figured that my starting place was to read the Book of Revelation again and make notes, so I have a basis of comparison. After I wrote elaborate notes, I realized that I needed to type it out, so I can pair up particular subtopics for further analysis. While in the process of doing this, I realized that it would be good to write the Revelation passages in small chunks, so I don’t miss any of the subtopics to compare. While I was doing that, I realized that it was beneficial to have an overview of what those subtopics said. Using a table format seemed to work the best for this. 

In addition, the column on the right has almost all of the Revelation passage listed in the left column. At times, I paraphrase or condense things to conserve space. An example is that I almost always put an ‘&’ sign instead of spelling out the word ‘and’. Additionally, I use the numeral instead of spelling out the numbers. Another way I conserve space while trying to maintain the integrity of the Bible passage listed is to join like things together. (Example: Revelation 7:4-8 says: And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed: of the tribe of Judah twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Gad twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Asher twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Manasseh twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Levi twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Benjamin twelve thousand were sealed. 

So, this is how I condensed it. Revelation 7:4-8 John heard the number of those sealed:144,00 of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed. 12,000 each of the following tribes were sealed: Tribes of Judah, Reuben, Gad, Asher, Naphtali, Manasseh, Simeon, Levi, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph, Benjamin.  It says the same basic thing but condenses it to conserve space. 

I felt led to share The Book in Revelation in Small Chunks before finishing the rest of my Biblical Research Project, because it might be a beneficial resource to others who have an interest in trying to better understand the Book of Revelation. I will not be analyzing this, putting any evaluation, comments, or opinions in brackets the way I have with the other Biblical Research Projects, because this is just supposed to be a resource for others, at this point. This Biblical Research Resource will be completed with the use of the New King James Version [NKJV] of the Bible unless noted otherwise. I may utilize online sites as a resource, if needed.  If something doesn’t seem clear, I may put who is being referred within brackets for clarity. Also, I ended up color coding particular aspects of the Book of Revelation to make it easier when I compare it with the other other end of world predictions as I continue the research on this Biblical Research Project.

Verse numbers and basic info:	Basics of what these verses said, although sometimes paraphrased
Rev 1:1-3 Jesus revealed to John through His angel what things would happen soon, so he could share it with us.	This is the Revelation of Jesus Christ which God gave Him to show His servants things that must shortly take place. He sent & signified by His angel to His servant John, who bore witness of the word of God, & to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he [John] saw. Blessed is he who reads & those who hear the words of this prophecy, & keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.
Rev 1:4-6 Jesus Christ who saved us from our sins & God the Father are sharing this info with John to share with the churches & us.	John is to share this information with the 7 churches in Asia from Him who is & was & is to come & from the 7 spirits who are before His throne & Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead & ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us & washed us from our sins in His own blood& has made us kings & priests to His God & Father, to Him be glory & dominion forever & ever. Amen.
Rev 1:7-8 Jesus is coming in the clouds & every eye will see Him, the Alpha & Omega, Beginning & Last, the Almighty.	He [Christ] is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Amen. “I am the Alpha & the Omega, the Beginning & the End,” says the Lord, “who is & who was & who is to come, the Almighty.”
Rev 1:9 John tells that he was exiled to the island of Patmost for sharing his faith in Christ	John, brother & companion in tribulation & kingdom & patience of Jesus Christ & was on the island of Patmos for the word of God & for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Rev 1:10-11 John heard God speak to him & told him to write in a book & share it with the 7 churches	John was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day when he heard a loud voice behind him like a trumpet saying, “I am the Alpha & the Omega, the First & the Last. What You see, write in a book & send it to the 7 churches in Asia: Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, & Laodicea.”
Rev 1:12-16 John saw 7 golden lampstands & describes what Jesus looked like & that He had 7 stars in His right hand	John turned to see the voice that spoke with him & saw 7 golden lampstands. In the midst of the 7 lampstands, One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet & girded about the chest with a golden band. His head & hair were white as snow & His eyes like a flame of fire. His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace & His voice as the sound of many waters. Jesus had in His right hand 7 stars & out of His mouth went a two-edged sword. His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength.
Rev 1:17-20 Jesus talks to John when he falls at Jesus’ feet & explains the meaning of the 7 stars & 7 golden lampstands	When John saw Jesus, he fell at His feet as if dead, but Jesus laid His right hand on him saying, “Do not be afraid; I am the First & the Last, I am He who lives & was dead, & behold I am alive forevermore. Amen. I have the keys to Hades & Death. Write the things which you have seen & the things which will take place after this. The mystery of the 7 stars which you saw in My right hand are the angels of the 7 churches, & the 7 golden lampstands are the 7 churches.”
Rev 2:1-7 Jesus tells John to write a letter to the church of Ephesus. Some things they are doing well, but they need to repent & change the things that they aren’t doing well or Jesus will come remove their lampstand, but those who overcome will eat from the Tree of Life in the midst of the Paradise of God.	John is to write this from Jesus “To the angel of the Church of Ephesus:These things say He who holds the 7 stars in His right hand & walks in the midst of the 7 golden lampstands. I know their works, labor, patience & that you can’t bear those who are evil. They have tested those who say they are apostles & have found them liars. They have persevered & have patience, & have labored for My name’s sake & haven’t become weary. Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love, You need to remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent & do the first works or else I will come to you quickly & remove your lampstand from its place. The church & Jesus both hate the Nicolaitans. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in  the midst of the Paradise of God.”
Rev 2:8-11 Jesus tells the church of Smyrna He knows their works, good & bad & some are about to be thrown into prison 10 days by the devil, but those who overcome shall not be hurt by the second death.	John should write to: “The angel of the church in Smyrna: From the First & the Last, who was dead, & came to life I know your works, tribulation & poverty (but they are rich); & Jesus knows of the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews & are not, but are of the synagogue of Satan. Don’t fear the things which you are about to suffer, for the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested & you will have tribulation for 10 days. Be faithful until death, & I will give you the crown of life. Hear what the Spirit says to the churches: He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death.”
Rev 2:12-17 Jesus tells the church in Pergamos that they hold fast to His name, but they have the doctrine of Balaam of eating things sacrificed to idols & commit sexual immorality. Also, Jesus hates them who  hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans. They need to repent or Jesus will fight against them. Him who overcomes will be given some of the hidden manna to eat &  a stone with a new name will be given to those them.	John is to write to: the angel of the church in Pergamos that He who has the two-edged sword knows your works & where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is & you hold fast to My name, & did not deny My faith even in the days in which Antipas was My faithful martyr, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells. I [Jesus] have some things against them, because they have those who hold the doctrine of Balaam who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel to eat things sacrificed to idols & to commit sexual immorality. You also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. Repent, or else I will come to you quickly & will fight against them with the sword of My mouth. The Spirit says to the churches: to him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna to eat & I will give them a white stone, & on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.”
Rev 2:18-29 Jesus has eyes like a flame of fire & feet like fine brass. He’s upset that the church of Thyatira allowed Jezebel to teach & seduce His servants to commit sexual immorality & didn’t repent. She is going  to be cast into a sickbed & her children will die, so the churches know that Jesus searches the minds & hearts & will give according to your works.	John writes to the church of Thyatira: “These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire & His feet like fine brass; I know your works, love, service, faith & your patience. As for your works, the last are more than the first. Nevertheless, I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach & seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality & eat things sacrificed to idols. I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, & she didn’t repent. Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, & those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. I will kill her children with death & all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds & hearts. I will give to each according to your works. Many in Thyatira don’t know the depths of Satan as they say, I will put on you no other burden. But hold fast what you have till I come. “And He who overcomes & sees My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations-’He shall rule them with a rod of iron; They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels, as I also have received from My Father; & I will give him the morning star. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
Rev 3:1-6 Jesus knows their works of the church of Sardis & although some are alive, they are dead. He has not found their works perfect before God. Hold fast & repent, because I will come as a thief in the night & you won’t know what hour I will come. I will share the name of those who do not defile their white garments with My Father before His angels.	John writes for Jesus to the church of Sardis, “These things says He who has the 7 Spirits of God & 7 stars. I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. Be watchful & strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I haven't  found your works perfect before God. Remember what you have received & heard, hold fast & repent. If you don’t watch, I will come on you as a thief & you will not know what hour I will come upon you. I have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; & they shall walk with Me in white, because they are worthy. He who overcomes will be clothed in white garments & I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life, but will confess his name before My Father & before His angels. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
Rev 3:7-13 Jesus knows that they have kept His work & not denied His name. Those who profess to be Jews, but are really of the synagogue of Satan to come worship at their feet. Jesus loves them, because they have kept His command & He will keep those who overcome from the hour of trial & write on him the name of God.	John writes to the church of Philadelphia for the Holy Spirit, “These things says He who is holy, He who is true. He who has the key of David, He who opens & no one shuts, & shuts & no one opens.” I [Jesus] know your works, I set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word & have not denied My name. I will make those of the synagogue of Satan who lie & say they are Jews & are not, to come worship before your feet & to know that I have loved you, because you have kept My command to persevere. I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God & he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God & the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which will come down out of heaven from My God. I will write on him My new name. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
Reve 3:14-22 The Spirit tells John to write to the church of the Laodiceans that they were neither hot nor cold, but luke-warm, which the Spirit says He will vomit out of His mouth. He has protected them & has taken care of them, but rebukes & chastens those He loves, so they should repent so they may overcome & sit with Him on His throne.	“And to the angel of the church of Laodiceans  write, These things says the Amen, the Faithful & True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God:  I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you re luke-warm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, I am rich, have become wealthy & have need of nothing & do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind & naked- I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, thay you may be rich: & white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; & anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous & repent. Behold I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice & opens the door, I will come in to him & dine with him & he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I, also overcame & sat down with My Father on His throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
Rev 4:1-6 John is taken in the Spirit who shows him what must take place after this. He shows John some of heaven with a throne with a rainbow around it with 24 thrones & 24 elders clothed in white. There was a sea of glass in front of the throne & 4 living creatures full of eyes.	John saw a door standing open in heaven. The first voice he heard was like a trumpet speaking with him, saying, “Come up here & I will show you things which must take place after this. He was immediately in the Spirit & behold a throne set in heaven, & One sat on the throne. He who sat on there was like jasper & sardius stone in appearance there was a rainbow around the throne, In appearance like an emerald. Around the throne were 24 thrones & John saw 24 elders sitting, clothed in white robes & they had crowns of gold on their heads. From the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings & voices. 7 lamps of fire were burning before the throne which are the 7 Spirits of God. Before the throne there was a sea of glass & in the midst of the throne & around about the throne, were 4 living creatures full of eyes in front & in back.
Rev 4:7-11 John describes the 4 living creatures. The 1st is like a lion, 2nd like a calf, 3rd like a man, 4th like a flying eagle. All are full of eyes around & within. They give glory, honor & thanks to God & the 24 elders fall down & worship & praise Him.	The 1st living creature was like a lion, the 2nd living creature like a calf, the 3rd living creature had a face like a man & the 4th living creature was like a flying eagle. The 4 living creatures each have 6 wings & were full of eyes around & within. They do not rest day or night saying,”Holy, holy, holly, Lord God almighty, Who was & is & is to come!”  Whenever the 4 living creatures give glory & honor & thanks to Him [God] who sits on the throne & lives forever, the 24 elders fall down before Him & worship Him & cast their crowns before the throne saying, “You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory & honor & power; For You created all things, & by Your will they exist & were created.”
Rev 5:1-14 John saw that Him who was on the throne had a scroll written inside & on the back with 7 seals, but no one in heaven, on earth or under it were worthy  to loose its seals & John, wept. The Lion of Judah, Root of David [Jesus] prevailed & the 4 living creatures, angels, elders & many more rejoiced that the Lamb was worthy to open the seals of the scroll. They sang many songs of praise to Him & said “Blessing & honor & glory & power Be to Him who sits on the throne, & to the Lamb, forever & ever!”	John saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside & on the back, sealed with 7 seals. Then he saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll & to loose its seals?” No one in heaven, on earth or under it was able to open the scroll or look at it. John wept, because no one was worthy to open & read the scroll, but one of the elders told him not to weep, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll & loose its 7 seals. John saw in the midst of the throne & of the 4 living creatures & the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having 7 horns & 7 eyes, which are the 7 Spirits of God sent out into all the earth. He came & took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.  When He had taken the scroll, the 4 living creatures & 24 elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp & golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints & they sang a new song saying:”You are worthy to take the scroll, & to open its seals: For You were slain, & have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe & tongue & people & nation, & have made us Kings & priests of our God; & we shall reign on the earth.” Then John heard the voice of many angels, living creatures & elders around the throne & the number of them was 10,000 x 10,000 + 1,000’s +1,000’s saying with a loud voice: “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power & riches & wisdom & strength & honor & glory & blessing!” every creature which is in heaven, on earth & under it & such as are in the sea & all that are in them, he heard saying, “Blessing & honor & glory & power Be to Him who sits on the throne, & to the Lamb, forever & ever!” Then the 4 living creatures said, “Amen!” The 24 elders fell down & worshipped Him who lives forever & ever.
Rev 6:1-17 The overview is in the left column of the section to the right.	Verses Opening 6 of the 7 Seals of the Scroll  Rev 6:1-2 When the 1st seal was opened, One on white horse went out conquering & to conquer John saw when the Lamb opened 1 of the seals & heard 1 of the 4 Living Creatures saying with a voice like thunder, “Come & see.” He looked a behold, a white horse & He who sat on it had a bow & a crown was given to him. He went out conquering & to conquer.  Rev 6:3-4 When the 2nd seal was opened, One on fiery red horse was given a great sword & was granted to take peace from earth & people should kill one another. When He opened the 2nd seal, John heard the 2nd Living Creature saying, “Come & see.” A fiery red horse went out & it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth & that people should kill one another & there was given him a great sword. Rev 6:5-6 When the 3rd seal was opened, One on the black horse had a pair of scales in his hand. It was said that a quart of wheat & 3 quarts of barley would each be sold for a denarius. When He opened the 3rd seal, John heard the 3rd Living creature say, “Come & see.”  John saw a black horse & he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. He heard a voice in the midst of the 4 Living Creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius & 3 quarts of barley for a denarius & do not harm the oil & the wine.” Rev 6:7-8 When the 4th seal was opened, One riding a pale horse was given the name Death & Hades followed him. Power was given over ¼ of the earth to kill with a sword, hunger, death & beasts of the earth. When He opened the 4th seal, John heard the voice of the 4th Living Creature say, “Come & see.” He saw a pale horse & the name of him who sat on it was Death and Hades followed with him. Power was given to them over ¼ of the earth to kill with a sword, with hunger, with death & with the beasts of the earth. Rev 6:9-11 When the 5th seal was opened, John saw people under the altar who had been slain for the word of God & their testimony. They wanted to know how long until their blood is avenged. They were told to rest a little while longer until the rest of their brethren & fellow servants  who would be killed, as they were, was completed.                                            When He opened the 5th seal, John saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God & for the testimony which they held. They cried with a loud voice saying, “How long, O Lord, holy & true until You judge & avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” Then a white robe was given to each of them & it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants & their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.   Rev 6:12-17 When the 6th seal was opened there was a great earthquake, the sun became black & the moon became like blood & the stars fell to the earth. The sky receded as a scroll when it’s rolled up & every mountain & island was moved out of its place. The kings, great & rich & mighty men, commanders & every slave & every free man hid in caves & rocks of the mountains and wanted them to fall on them & hide them from the face of Him who sits on the throne & from the wrath of the Lamb for the great day of His wrath has come.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     John looked when He opened the 6th seal & behold there was a great earthquake; & the sun became black as sackcloth of hair & the moon became like blood, the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. The sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up & every mountain & island was moved out of its place. The kings of the earth, great men, rich men, commanders, mighty men, every slave & every free man hid themselves in the caves & the rocks of the mountains & said to the mountains & rocks, “Fall on us & hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne & from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come & who is able to stand?”
Reve 7:1-17	Verses 4 Angels before the 7th Seal is opened Rev 7:1  Johns saw 4 angels standing on the 4 corners of the earth holding the wind, so it wouldn’t blow on the earth, sea, or any tree. After these things, John saw 4 angels standing at the 4 corners of the earth holding the 4 winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, sea or any tree. Rev 7:2-8 John saw another angel cry out to 4 angels who were given power to harm the earth & sea saying, “Do not harm the earth, sea, or trees until we have sealed the servants of our God in their forehead. There were 144,000 sealed of all the tribes of Israel seals, 12,000 of each of the 12 Tribes of Israel were sealed. John saw another angel ascending from the east having the seal of the living God & he cried with a loud voice to the 4 angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth & sea saying, “Do not harm the earth, sea, or trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.” John heard the number of those sealed:144,00 of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed. 12,000 each of the following tribes were sealed: Tribes of Judah, Reuben, Gad, Asher, Naphtali, Manasseh, Simeon, Levi, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph, Benjamin.  Rev 7:9-12 In addition, John saw a great number of all nations, tribes, peoples & tongues standing before the throne of the Lamb in white robes with palm branches. They were saying,“Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne & to the Lamb!” All the angels, elders & 4 Living Creatures fell on their faces before the throne & worshiped God. After these, John saw a great multitude which no one could number of all nations, tribes, peoples & tongues, standing before the throne & before the Lamb clothed with white robes & palm branches in their hands. They were crying with a loud voice saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne & to the Lamb!” All the angels stood around the throne & the elders & 4 Living Creatures & fell on their faces before the throne & worshiped God saying, “Amen! Blessing & glory & wisdom, Thanksgiving & honor & power & might, Be to our God forever & ever. Amen” Rev 7:13-17 When John didn’t know the answer to why they were wearing white robes, the elder who asked the question explained that they were the ones who came out of the great tribulation & washed their robes I made them white in the blood of the Lamb & are before the throne of God & serve Him day & night in His temple. He who sits on the throne will dwell among them & they will neither hunger nor thirst anymore. The sun nor heat shall not strike them for the Lamb will shepherd them & lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. One of the elders answered John saying, “Who are these arrayed in white robes & where did they come from?” John told him that he knew. So he told John, “They are the ones who come out of the great tribulation & washed their robes & made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore they are before the throne of God & serve Him day & night in His temple. He who sits on the throne will dwell among them . They shall neither hunger nor thirst anymore. The sun shall not strike them nor any heat for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them & lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
Rev 8:1-21	Verses & Overview Opening the 7th Seal Rev 8:1-4 It was quiet for ½ hour after the 7th Seal was opened. The 7 angels Who stand before God & were given 7 trumpets. Another angel had a golden censer stood before the altar & had much incense to offer it with prayers of the saints upon the altar before the throne. The smoke of the incense with the prayers ascended before God from the angel’s hand. When He opened the 7th seal, there was silence in heaven for about ½ hour. John saw the 7 angels who stand before God were given 7 trumpets. Another angel having a golden censer came & stood at the altar. He was given much incense that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. The smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand.  Rev 8:5-6 An angel took the censer I filled it with fire from the altar & threw it to earth. There were noises, thunderings, lightnings & an earthquake. Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar & threw it to the earth. There were noises, thunderings, lightnings & an earthquake.So the 7 angels sounded who had the 7 trumpets prepared themselves to sound. Rev 8:7 The 1st angel sounded & Hail & fire followed, mingled with blood & were thrown to earth & ⅓ of trees & all green grass were burned up.  1st angel sounded & Hail & fire followed, mingled with blood & they were thrown to the earth. ⅓ of the trees were burned up & all green grass was burned up.  Rev 8:8-9 2nd angel sounded & something like a great mountain, burning with fire was thrown into the sea & ⅓ of the sea became blood & ⅓ of creatures of the sea died & ⅓ of ships were destroyed. 2nd angel sounded: & something like a great mountain, burning with fire was thrown into the sea & ⅓ of the sea became blood & ⅓ of the living creatures in the sea died & ⅓ of ships were destroyed. Rev 8:10-11 3rd angel sounded & a great star called Wormwood fell on ⅓ of rivers & ⅓ springs of water became wormwood & many men died, because it was made bitter. 3rd angel sounded: a great star fell from heaven burning like a torch & fell on ⅓  of rivers & springs of water. The name of the star is Wormwood & ⅓ of the water became wormwood & many men died from the water, because it was made bitter. Rev 8:12-13 4th angel sounded: ⅓ of the sun & moon were struck. ⅓ of stars were darkened I did not shine ⅓ of day or night. John heard an angel flying in the midst of heaven saying, “Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the remaining trumpet blasts of the 3 angels who are about to sound!”  4th angel sounded:⅓ of the sun was struck, ⅓ of the moon & ⅓ of the stars were darkened. ⅓  of the day did not shine & likewise the night. John looked and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven saying with a loud voice, “Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the 3 angels who are about to sound!” Rev 9:1-12 5th angel sounded: John saw a star fall from heaven to earth. Out of that smoke, locusts came upon the earth & to them was given the power as the scorpions of the earth have power. Their torment is like a scorpion & their shape is like horses prepared for battle. They have something like gold crowns on their heads & their faces are like the faces of men with hair like women’s hair & their teeth were like lion’s teeth. They had breastplates of iron & the sound of their wings was like chariots of many horses running into battle. They had stings in their tails like a scorpion & men will seek death & death will flee from them. By these 3 plagues ⅓ of mankind was killed-by fire & smoke & brimstone which came out of their mouths. For their power is in their mouth & tails; for their tails are like serpents, having heads & with them they do harm. The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons & idols of gold, silver, brass, stone & wood which can neither see, nor hear, nor walk. And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.  Rev 10:1-11 John saw another angel clothed with a cloud & a rainbow was on his head & his face was like the sun & his feet like pillars of fire with a little book open in his hand. His right foot was on the sea & his left foot was on the land & with a loud voice like when a lion roars. When he cried out, 7 thunders uttered their voices & John was about to write, but a voice said to him, “Seal up the things which the 7 thunders uttered & do not write them.” The angel John saw standing on the sea & land raised up his had to heaven & swore by Him [God] who lives forever & created heaven, the earth, the sea & the things that are in  all of them that there should be delay no longer.In the days of the sounding of the 7th angel, when he was about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants and the prophets. The voice he heard from heaven spoke to John telling him to take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel  who is standing on the sea & earth. When John got the book, he was told to take and eat it & it would make his stomach bitter, but it would be sweet as honey in his mouth, which it was. He said to John that he must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues & kings. John saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven, clothed with a cloud. And a rainbow was on his head, his face was like the sun & his feet like pillars of fire. He had a little book open in his hand. He set his right foot on the sea & his left foot on the land & cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roars. When he cried out, 7 thunders uttered their voices. When the 7 thunders uttered their voices, John was about to write; but heard a voice saying to him, “Seal up the things which the 7 thunders uttered & do not write them.” The angel John saw standing on the sea & on the land raise up his hand to heaven & swore by Him who lives forever & ever, who created heaven & the things that are in it & earth & the things that are in it & the sea & the things that are in it, that there should be delay no longer, but in the days of the sounding of the 7th angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets. Then the voice that he heard from heaven spoke to him again & said, “God, take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel who stands on the sea & on the earth.” So John went to the angel & said to him, “Give me the little book.” And he said to John, “Take & eat it & it will make your stomach bitter, but it will be as sweet as honey in your mouth.” Then John took the little book out of the angel’s hand & ate it & it was as sweet as honey in his mouth, but when he had eaten it, his stomach became bitter. He said to John, “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues & kings."
Rev 11:1-2 After an angel told him to measure & gave him a measuring reed, John measured the temple, the altar & all who worship there, but was not to measure the court outside the temple given to the Gentiles who were to tread the holy city underfoot for 42 months.	John was given a reed like a measuring rod. The angel stood saying, “Rise & measure the temple of God, the altar, & those who worship there. But leave out the court which is outside the temple, & do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city underfoot for 42 months.
Rev 11:3-6 Power was given to 2 Witnesses to prophesy 1,260 days clothed in sackcloth. They are the 2 olive trees & 2 lampstands before God of the earth. If anyone wants to harm them, fire goes from their mouths & kills their enemies in this manner. They have power to stop rain & to turn water into blood & strike the earth with plagues as often as they desire.	I will give power to my 2 Witnesses & they will prophesy 1,260 days clothed in sackcloth.” These are 2 olive trees & the 2 lampstands standing before the God of the earth. If anyone wants to harm them, fire proceeds from their mouth & devours their enemies, If anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this manner. These have power to shut heaven, so no rain falls in the days of their prophecy & they have power over waters to turn them to blood & to strike the earth with all plagues as often as they desire.
Rev 11:7-12 The beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome & kill them. Their bodies will lie in the street of the great city spiritually called Sodom & Egypt for 3 ½ days where our Lord was crucified. People from all tribes, tongues & nations saw their dead bodies, but they did not allow their bodies to be put into graves & rejoiced, because the 3 prophets tormented those on the earth. After 3 ½ days the breath of God enter them & they stood. God called them from heaven saying, “Come up here,” & they ascended to heaven in a cloud as their enemies saw them.	When they finish their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them & kill them. Their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which spiritually is called Sodom & Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. Then those from the people, tribes, tongues & nations will see their dead bodies 3 ½ days & not allow their dead bodies to be put into graves. Those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them, make merry & send gifts to one another, because these 2 prophets tormented those who dwell on earth.  After 3 ½ days the breath of life from God entered them & they stood on their feet & great fear fell on those who saw them. And they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” And they ascended to heaven in a cloud & their enemies saw them.
Rev 11:13-14 In the same hour a great earthquake destroyed 1/10 of the city & killed 7,000 people. The rest were afraid I gave glory to God in heaven. The 2nd Woe is past & the 3rd is coming quickly.	In the same hour, there was a great earthquake & 1/10 of the city fell. In the earthquake 7,000 people were killed & the rest were afraid & gave glory to the God of heaven. The Second Woe is past. Behold the third is coming quickly.
Rev 11:15-19 The 7th angel sounded & there were loud voices in heaven saying, “The kingdoms of the world have become the kingdoms of our Lord & His Christ. He shall reign forever & ever!” The 24 elders before the throne of God fell on their faces worshipping & thanking, “God Almighty the One who is, was & is to come, because He has taken His great power & reigned. The nations were angry & Your wrath has come & the time of the dead that they should be judged that He should reward His servants, the prophets & saints & those who fear His name small & great & should destroy who destroy the earth.” The temple of God was opened in heaven & the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. There were lightnings, noises, thunderings,  an earthquake & great hail.	The 7th angel sounded: Loud voices in heaven saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord & His Christ & He shall reign forever & ever!” 24 elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces & worshipped God saying, “We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, The One who is & who was & who is to come, Because You have taken Your great power & reigned. The nations were angry & Your wrath has come & the time of the dead, that they should be judged, & that You should reward Your servants the prophets & the saints, & those who fear Your name, small & great, & should destroy those who destroy the earth.” Then the temple of God was opened in heaven & the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. There were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake & great hail.
Rev 12:1-9 A great sign in heaven: a pregnant woman clothed with the sun & moon under her feet with a garland of 12 stars on her head cried out in labor & pain to give birth. Another sign in heaven was a great fiery red dragon with 7 heads with 7 crowns & 10 horns & his tail drew ⅓ of the stars of heaven & threw them to earth. The dragon stood before the woman about to give birth in order to devour her Child when it was born. She had a male Child who was to rule all nations & was caught up to God & His throne. The woman fled into the wilderness to a place prepared by God that she should be fed there for 1,260 days. Michael & his angels fought with the dragon [the old serpent of old called Satan & the Devil who deceives the whole world] & his angels. The dragon nor his angels prevailed nor was there a place for them found in heaven any longer and they were cast to earth.	A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet & on her head was a garland of 12 stars. Then being with child, she cried out in labor & pain to give birth. Another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having 7 heads & 10 horns & 7 diadems [crowns] on his heads. His tail drew  ⅓ of the stars of heaven & threw them to the earth. The dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born. She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. Her Child was caught up to God & His throne. The woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God that they should feed her there 1,260 days. War broke out in heaven. Michael & his angels fought with the dragon & the dragon & his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. The great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old called the Devil & Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth & his angels were cast out with him.
Rev 12:10-17 John heard a loud voice in heaven saying, “Now salvation, strength & the kingdom & power of our God & His Christ have come. They overcame the accuser of our brethren who were willing to give their lives & cast him [devil, dragon, Satan] down to earth through the blood of the Lamb [Jesus] & by the word of their testimony. The devil had great wrath when he was cast to the earth, because he knew he had a short time. He persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child. The serpent spewed water out of his mouth after her, but she was given 2 great wings that she might fly into the wilderness to her place where she is nourished for a time & times & half a time. The earth opened its mouth to save her from the serpent’s flood & swallowed it up. The enraged dragon went to war with the rest of her offspring [Christians] who keep the commandments of God & have the testimony of Jesus Christ.	John heard a loud voice in heaven saying, “ Now salvation & strength & the kingdom of our God & the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb & by the word of their testimony & they did not love their lives until death. Rejoice, O heavens & you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth & the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.” When the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child.  The woman was given 2 wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place where she is nourished for a time & times & half a time, from the presence of the serpent. The serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood. But the earth helped the woman & the earth opened its mouth & swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. The dragon was enraged with the woman & he went to make war with the rest of her offspring [Christians], who keep the commandments of God & have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Rev 13:1-10 John stood on the sand by the sea & saw a beast rise up out of the sea with 7 heads with a blasphemous name on them & 10 horns with crowns . The beast was like a leopard, his feet like a bear & his mouth like a lion. The dragon gave him his throne & great power & authority. John saw 1 of the heads had been mortally wounded & healed. All the world marveled & followed the beast & worshipped the dragon who gave authority to the beast saying, “Who is like the beast or is able to make war with him?” He was given a mouth to speak great things & blasphemies &  authority  to continue for 42 months. He opened his mouth to blapheme God, His name, tabernacle & those who dwell in heaven. It was granted him to make war with the saints & to overcome them.  Authority was given him over every tribe, tongue & name & nation & all who worship him whose names have not be written ,from the foundation of the world in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain.  If anyone has an ear, let him hear. He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity; he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience & the faith of the saints. He causes all: small & great, rich & poor, free & slave to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, & that no one may buy or sell except those who have the mark or the name of the beast or the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: HIs number is 666. He deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword & lived. He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast should both speak & cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. He causes all, both small & great, rich & poor, free & slave to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, & that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast or the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: HIs number is 666.
Rev 14:1-5 John saw a lamb standing on Mt. zion with 144,000 having His Father’s name written on their foreheads. He heard a voice like many waters & thunder & harpists playing in heaven. They sang a new song before the throne, 4 LIving Creatures & elders, but no one could learn the song except the 144,000 who were redeemed from the earth & follow the Lamb wherever He goes, being the firstfruits to God & to the Lamb-their mouths without deceit & fault before the throne of God.	John saw a Lamb standing on Mount Zion & with Him 144,000 having HIs Father’s name written on their foreheads. He heard a voice in heaven like the voice of many waters & like the voice of thunder & the sound of harpists playing their harps. They sang as it were a new song before the throne, before the 4 Living Creatures & the elders & no one could learn that song except the 144,000 who were redeemed from the earth. These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins & follow the Lamb wherever He goes. They were redeemed from among men, being firstfruits to God & to the Lamb. In their mouths was found no deceit, for they are without fault before the throne of God.
Rev 14:6-11 John saw another angel flying in heaven with the everlasting gospel to preach to those on the earth-to every nation, tribe, tongue & people, saying, “Fear God & give glory to Him for the judgment hour has come. Worship Him who made heaven & earth, the seas & springs. Another angel said that the great city of Babylon has fallen, because she led people to follow her fornications. The 3rd angel said, “ If anyone worships the beast, his image or receives his mark on his forehead or hand, he will drink of the wrath of God poured out full strength into the cup of his indignation & be tormented with fire & brimstone in the presence of the holy angels in the presence of the Lamb forever & ever.	John saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth-to every nation, tribe, tongue & people-saying with a loud voice, “Fear God & give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come. Worship Him who made heaven & earth, the sea & springs of water.” Another angel followed saying, “Babylon, that great city is fallen, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.” Then, a 3rd angel followed saying, “If anyone worships the beast & his image & receives his mark on his forehead or his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire & brimstone in the presence of the holy angels in the presence of the Lamb. The smoke of their torment ascends forever & ever & they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast & his image & whoever receives the mark of his name.”

John heard a voice in heaven saying,  “Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on that they may rest from their labors, & works follow them,” says the Spirit.  He saw a white cloud with One like the Son of Man sitting on it, having a golden crown on his head & a sharp sickle in His hand. Another angel cried to Him who sat on the cloud, “Thrust in Your sickle & reap for the time of the harvest is ripe.”  He who sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle & the earth was reaped. Another angel came out of the temple in heaven with a sharp sickle. Another angel came out from the altar & had power over fire & he cried to Him who had the sharp sickle saying, “Thrust in your sickle & gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for her grapes are fully ripe.” So the angel thrust his sickle & gathered the vine of the earth & threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. The winepress was trampled outside the city & blood came out of the winepress of the wrath of God up to the horses’ bridles for 1,600 furlongs.	Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God & the faith of Jesus. Rev 15:1-8 John saw another sign in heaven, great & marvelous. 7 angels having the 7 last plagues, for in them the wrath of God is complete. He saw what looked like a sea of glass mingled with fire & all those who had victory over the beast, his image, his mark & the number of his name were standing on the sea of glass with harps of God & were singing the song of Moses glorifying God’s name. He saw that the temple of the tabernacle of testimony in heaven was opened. Out of the temple came the 7 angels with the 7 plagues. 1 of 4 Living Creatures gave the 7 angels 7 bowls of the wrath of God who lives forever & ever. The temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God & from His power & no one was able to enter the temple till the 7 plagues of the 7 angels were completed.	John saw another sign in heaven, great & marvelous, 7 angels having the 7 last plagues, for in them the wrath of God is complete. He saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire & those who have the victory over the beast & his image & his mark & over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God. They sang the song of Moses, the servant of God & the song of the Lamb saying:  “Great & marvelous are your works, Lord God Almighty! Just & true are Your ways, O King of the saints! Who shall not fear You O Lord, & glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. For all nations shall come & worship before You, For Your judgments have been manifested.” John saw that the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened. Out of the temple came the 7 angels with the 7 plagues clothed in pure bright linen with their chest girded with golden bands. One of the 4 Living Creatures gave to the 7 angels 7 golden bowls of the wrath of God who lives forever & ever. The temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God & from His power & no one was able to enter the temple till the 7 plagues of the 7 angels were completed.
Rev 16:1	John heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the 7 angels, “God & pour out the bowls of the wrath of God on the earth.”    Rev 16:2 The 1st angel poured out his bowl on the earth & a foul & loathsome sore came on the men who had the mark of the beast & those who worshiped his image.  The 1st [angel] went & poured out his bowl upon the earth & a foul & loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast & those who worshiped his image. Rev 16:3  The 2nd angel poured out his bowl on the sea & it became blood as of a dead man & every living creature in the sea died. Rev 16:4-7  The 3rd angel poured out his bowl on the rivers & springs & they became blood. He heard the angel of the waters praising God for being righteous & judging them, because they have shed the blood of saints & prophets, And You [God] have given them blood to drink. For it is their just due.” He heard another from the altar saying, “Even so, Lord God Almighty, true & righteous are Your judgments.” The 3rd angel poured out his bowl on the rivers & springs of water & they became blood. She was wearing purple & scarlet adorned with lots of jewels sitting in the wilderness on a scarlet & a golden cup full of abominations & the filthiness of her fornnication. On her head was written: Mystery, Babylon the Great, The Mother of Harlots & of the Abominations of the Earth. He saw her drunk with the blood of saints & the martyrs of Jesus & marveled with great amazement & the angel wondered why & told him the beast he saw & is not & will ascend out of the bottomless pit & will go to perdition. Those whose names are not written in the Book of Life will marvel	One of the 7 angels who had the 7 bowls came & talked to John saying, “Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters, with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication & the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her formnication.” He carried John away in the Spirit into the wilderness & he saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having 7 heads & 10 horns. The woman was arrayed in purple & scarlet & adorned with gold & precious stones & pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations & the filthiness of her fornication. On her forehead a name was written: Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother of Harlots & of the Abominations of The Earth. He saw the woman drunk with the blood of the saints & with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. When he saw her, he marveled with great amazement. The angel said to John, “Why did you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman & of the beast that carries her, which has the 7 heads & 10 horns. The beast that you saw was & is not & will ascend out of the bottomless pit & go to perdition. Those who dwell on the earth will marvel, whose names are not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they see the beast that was & is not & yet is.
Rev 18:9-18 The angel tells John, “Here is the mind which has wisdom: the 7 heads are 7 mountains on which the woman sits. There are also 7 kings. 5 have fallen, 1 is & the other has not yet come. When he comes, he must continue a short time. The beast that was & is not is himself also the 8th & is of the 7 & is going to perdition. The 10 horns are 10 kings who have received no kingdom yet, but they  receive authority for 1 hour as kings with the beast. These are of 1 mind & they will give their power & authority to the beast. These will make war with the Lamb who will overcome them for He is Lord of lords & King of kings & those who are with Him are called chosen & faithful. John heard him cry mightily saying loudly, “Babylon the great is fallen & has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit & cage for every unclean & hated bird! All the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her & the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.”	After these things John saw another angel coming from heaven having great authority & the earth was illuminated with his glory. He cried mightily saying loudly, “Babylon the great is fallen & has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit & cage for every unclean & hated bird! All the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her & the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.”
Rev 18:4-24 John heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins & lest you receive of her plagues. For her sins have reached to heaven & God has remembered her iniquities. Render to her as she did to you, but repay her double, because she glorified herself & lived luxuriously. In the same measure give her torment & sorrow for she says, ‘I sit as a queen & will not see sorrow.’ Therefore her plagues will come in 1 day-death & mourning & famine. She [the City of Babylon] will be utterly burned with fire for strong is the Lord God who judges her. The kings of the earth who committed fornication & lived luxuriously with her will weep & lament for her when they see the smoke of her burning, saying, “Alas that great city Babylon that mighty city! For in 1 hour your judgement has come.’ The merchants will weep & mourn over her for no one buys their merchandise of precious: metals, stones, jewels, materials, spices, woods, oils, grains, livestock, chariots, ships & souls of men. The things your soul longs which are rich & splendid have gone from you & shall not be found any more at all. The merchants who become rich by her will stand at a distance for fear of her torment, weeping & wailing, saying, ‘Alas, that great city was clothed in fine linen, purple & scarlet & was adorned with gold & precious stones & pearls! In 1 hour such great riches came to nothing.’ What is like this great city?’ They threw dust on their heads & cried out, weeping & wailing & saying, ‘Alas that great city in which all who had ships on the sea became rich by her wealth! For in 1 hour she is made desolate.’ “Rejoice over her, O heaven & you holy apostles & prophets for God has avenged you on her!” A mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone & threw it into the sea saying, “Thus with violence the great city Babylon shall be thrown down & shall not be found anymore,  nor the sound of harpists, musicians, flutists & trumpeters, nor craftsman of any craft & the sound of a millstone shall not be heard in you anymore. The light of a lamp shall not shine in you anymore & the voice of bridegroom & bride shall not be heard in you any more for your merchants were great men of the earth, for by your sorcery all nations were deceived. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood & His name is called The Word of God. The armies in heaven were clothed in fine white linen & followed Him on white horses. Out of His mouth goes a sharp sword that with it He shall strike the nations & rule them with a rod of iron. He treads the winepress of the fierceness & wrath of Almighty God. On His robe & on His thigh a name is written: King Of Kings & Lord Of Lords. The angel called the birds that fly in the midst of heaven saying, “Gather together for the supper of the great God, that you may eat the flesh of kings, captains, mighty men, horses & those who sit on them & all people free & slave, both small & great.” John saw the beast, kings of the earth, their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse & against His army. Then the beast was captured & with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence by which he deceived those who worshiped his image. These 2 were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. The rest were killed with the sword  which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. I am the Alpha & the Omega, the Beginning & the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. Rev 21: 9-27 One of the angels who had the 7 bowls filled with the 7 last plagues talked with John saying, “Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.” He carried John away in the Spirit to a great & high mountain & showed him the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal. She had a great & high wall with 12 gates & 12 angels at the gates & names of the 12 tribes of the children of Israel written on them: 3 gates on each of the east; north; south & west walls. The wall of the city had 12 foundations & on them were the names of the 12 apostles of the Lamb. He who talked with John gave him a gold reed to measure the city laid out in a square, its gates & wall. The  wall is constructed of jasper & the city was pure gold like clear glass. The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all kinds of precious stones: the 1st foundation was jasper, the 2nd sapphire, the 3rd chalcedony, the 4th emerald, the 5th sardonyx, the 6th sardius, the 7th chrysolite, the 8th beryl, the 9th topaz, the 10th chrysoprase, the 11th jacinth, and the 12th amethyst. One of the angels who had the 7 bowls filled with the 7 last plagues came to John & talked with him saying, “Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.” He carried John away in the Spirit to a great & high mountain & showed him the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone clear as crystal. She had a great & high wall with 12 gates & 12 angels at the gates & names written on them which are the name of the 12 tribes of the children of Israel: 3 gates on the east, 3 gates on the north, 3 gates on the south & 3 gates on the west. The wall of the city had 12 foundations & on them were the names of the 12 apostles of the Lamb. He who talked with John had a gold reed to measure the city, its gates & its wall. The city is laid out as a square, its length is as great as its breadth. John measured the city with the reed: 12,000 furlongs. It’s length, breadth & height are equal. On either side of the river in the middle of the street was the tree of life which bore 12 fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. There was no more curse, but the throne of God & the Lamb shall be in it & His servants shall serve Him. They shall see His face & His name shall be on their foreheads. There shall be no night there & no need of a lamp, light, or sun for the Lord God gives them light & shall reign forever & ever.  The Lord God sent His angel to show His servants the things which must shortly take place.  “Behold, I am coming quickly! I am the Root & the Offspring of David, the Bright & Morning Star.” The Spirit & the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.	He said to John, “Do not seal the words of this prophecy of this book for the time is at hand.  I am not going to try to interpret all these passages, since many are signs that are open to a vast array of interpretations. I recently got literature in the mail, that I hadn’t requested, that states that the beast of the sea and of the land, the little horn, the dragon, and the antichrist are related to the pope and the papacy. Is that true? Maybe yes and maybe no. I don’t know the answer to these things, but I am sharing this so you can be mindful and prayerful to listen to the instincts that Christ alone can give you. 

The literature I received in the mail also stated that Babylon, that is to be destroyed, is the Vatican.  I can’t tell you for sure, but I really think it was an analogy speaking of Babylon in relation to all corrupt cities, merchants, etc. that lead others away from their focus in Christ, our Lord and His commandments. Nevertheless, an analogy explains one thing in terms of another to highlight the ways in which they are alike.”

Again, although I can’t tell you for sure, I think the information in this book of the Bible about Babylon is an example of all corrupt cities, merchants, etc. who lead people astray. Does it matter that I don’t have a definitive answer for this or for the other information related to the literature I received in the mail? 

In my opinion, as a Christian, I found what works best for me is not to get too caught up in trying to find literal interpretations or definitive interpretations for things of this nature. I just focus on Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and I don’t get overwhelmed by the details that are beyond my comprehension.

 I will use this as an example: Revelation 21:21 says: The twelve gates were twelve pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.

Well, I used to hear people argue about what heaven is going to be like. Does it matter if the streets of heaven are going to be made or pure gold, gold plated or just look like gold? No, none of that is really significant, in my opinion! What is significant is that I want to end up in heaven when Jesus calls me no matter what the streets are paved with! The way that is possible is not to get caught up in arguments with others that Satan may use to lead us astray. 

If I focus on Jesus Christ as my Savior, His commandments, and what He wants for me, I am most apt to end up in heaven on the Last Day. Of course, I’m not perfect, but all my many sins are forgiven as long as I stay focused on Christ who made the ultimate sacrifice for me and for you too! 

Remember John 3:16-21 when Jesus says: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”
